MAX is an E-Learning product suite of richly integrated and displayed classesinterchangeably referred to as Lessons, or Modules. Each lesson/module consists of Sub-lessons, or “Slideshows.” Essentially, MAX offers viewers a Virtual Classroom experience.
Since people learn in different ways, we try and provide a complete cadre of delivery modes to maximize retention. So we present it all. On your viewing screen (e.g, your PC or Smartboard), a MAX Lesson/Session displays as:
- Audio/Visual/Kinesthetic : a (recorded) “Live” presentation
- Textual: Supporting Powerpoint slides that automatically synchronize to the presentation delivery; and B) a Resource /Reference/ Research section for supporting documentation and links to relevant articles, interviews, statistics and surveys, company/organization websites, books, anecdotes/stories , etc., etc.
- Experiential : MAX consists of numerous class exercises and discussion questions designed to make students think. Many of these are recorded live – and far more appear in the Teacher Manual.
Intended Use: MAX-Global serves as supplemental curricula, fitting conveniently into 2-4 week timeframes or extendable for longer periods (up to a semester) depending on how deep you go into exercises and discussions.
Access: It’s all in Cyberworld – no hard-drive download required. All you need is Internet access, a Smartboard (for single/teacher user) or PC’s (e.g., class/lab). Just Log-In and select your desired lesson module (or career session) and slideshows. Most modules/sessions are 30-60 minutes long and include 2-5 slideshows each (e.g., 10-15 minute tracks)
Getting Around: You drive! Freeze MAX to discuss an exercise or link to an external resource; or reverse/fast-forward to your desired location (slide show) – with no-hassle, automatic (re) synchronization.
